The IFAT exhibition in Munich, which is held every two years, started in 1966. After more than half a century of continuous development and improvement, it has become the largest and most important international ex
hibition in the field of environmental protection technology in the world. In 2018, the exhibition attracted 3304 exhibitors and over 130000 visitors from 59 countries, with an exhibition area of over 260000 square meters.
Thanks to the rapid development of China's environmental protection industry, China's environmental protection enterprises are getting closer to Munich in recent years. In 2018, 116 well-known domestic environmental protection enterprises, including Beikong, Yingfeng, Everbright, Tianying, Zoomlion, Jingjin, Tongchen, Evian, Aojiang, went to Munich, Germany to participate in the exhibition, and the visiting team from China has become more and more spectacular. More and more Chinese environmental protection enterprises and environmentalists take the initiative to "go out", dare to show the strength of China's environmental protection industry, and take the initiative to learn more advanced foreign technologies.
But with the novel coronavirus pneumonia and the number of confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia rising in many European countries, the pace of "going out" of domestic environmentalists will have to be postponed to the third quarter this year. At the same time, as the second largest exhibition after the parent Exhibition - IFAT exhibition in Munich, the China Environmental Expo (Shanghai) was previously postponed due to the impact of the epidemic. The Chengdu Exhibition, which is scheduled to be held in the Western China International Expo City from June 30 to July 2, and the Guangzhou Exhibition, which is scheduled to be held in the exhibition hall of China Import and Export Fair from September 16 to 18, will be held as scheduled.
