Multi-Disk Screw Press( Hereinafter referred as MDS ) belongs to the screw press, one industrial wastewater treatment equipment it's clog-free and can reduce the sedimentation tank and sludge thickening tank, saving the cost of sewage plant construction. MDS using screw and the moving rings to clean itself as clog-free structure, and controlled by the PLC automatically, it's a new technology that can replace the traditional filter press like belt press and frame press, the screw speed is very low, so it cost low power and water consumption in contrast to the centrifuge, it is a cutting edge sludge dewatering machine.

Dewater Principle

    After gravity concentration in the concentrating section, the sludge is transported to the dewatering section. 1.The main body of the dewatering machine is a filtering device formed by the fixed ring and the swimming ring being laminated on each other, and the spiral shaft penetrating therethrough. The front section is the concentration section, and the rear section is the dewatering section.

2. The filter gap formed between the fixed ring and the swimming ring and the pitch of the screw shaft gradually become smaller from the concentrated part to the dewatered part.

3. While the rotation of the screw shaft pushes the sludge from the thickening section to the dewatering section, it also continuously drives the swimming ring to clean the filter gap to prevent clogging.

4. After the gravity concentration in the concentration part, the sludge is transported to the dewatering part. This hardened steel SUS304H is 3 times expensive than normal SUS304, so other manufacturers they prefer to choose the normal material and need to increase the thickness of rings in order to increase the hardness, actually, increase the thickness of rings will affect the dewatering effects.
