New Technology Continuous Carbonization Furnace Treatment Equipment From Japan


Brief Introduction
Sludge drying and carbonization is a newly developed sludge recycling technology by Benenv. It is the result of the painstaking efforts of Japanese experts and Chinese professors in incineration, drying, carbonization field. This technology integrates the advantages of sludge drying and carbonization, and is both stable and dioxin free during the treatment process. During the process, drying is through direct heating while carbonization is through medium carbonization, which produces high quality products.


carbonization is a thermo-chemical process. It allows transforming structured molecules of wood, and cellulose products into coal. Carbonization is obtained through the elimination of water and volatile substances from the vegetal matter, due to the action of heat in charcoal pile.
Our company, Kingtiger, have focused on developing varieties of sludge carbonization equipments and obtained lots of achievements, including slime carbonization plant, adhesive dirt carbonization plant, sewage sludge carbonization plant and drilling mud carbonization plant. Working Process of Kingtiger Sewage Sludge Carbonization Machine:
1. Collect the raw material into the measuring conveyor by the material reclaimer machine.
2. The dispersion foggy device in the timber dryer pre-dries out the raw material which will free fall inside the carbonization machine and been dried out for the second time.
3. Then materials fall into the outside bin of the machine and start the high temperature pyrolysis, sulfur emission, flue gas volatile, carbon focused in the carbonization process.
4. The carbide will be discharged by the Water-cool conveyor, and the rest hot flue gas and heat will be suffered desulfurization process and smoke abatement process.
5. The smoke abatement and desulfurization steam will be cooled by the condenser and led to the recycle water pool.

Process Feature

No bound issue
The sludge is very sticky, and has a special adhesive-phase reaction during the drying process (water content around 40%-60%). During this short period, sludge is easily caking, with hard surface, yet still mud state inside. There is a special disintegrating and mixing device inside super dryer, which rotates with high speed during drying process, and breaks the adhesive phase sludge into small particles, thus increase the drying efficiency.


Low running costs, energy recyclable
After medium temperature carbonization, dried sludge generates large quantities of dry distillation gas under anaerobic condition. The gas is introduced into the combustion chamber of carbonizer as heat source. The high-temperature fume is pumped into dryer as the heat source. Therefore, running cost is low while thermal energy can be utilized and recyclable.

Total sludge volume reduced by more than 90%
After dried by super drier initially, and then carbonized by carbonizer with a further volume reduction; finally, the volume of the sludge can be reduced by 90%.


Simple operation, short processing time, small footprint
The entire process is fully automatic, and in accordance with the explosion-proof safety system which is designed to reduce human activities on the environment damage. Equipment is with small size, small footprint, short processing time, high reliability, suitable for construction operations in harsh environments. The overall level of equipment and process are leading the industry.


Harmless carbonized product with a wide range of uses
After the drying and medium temperature carbonization, sludge ultimately becomes stable particles with size of 1-5mm. Meanwhile, heavy metals have been solidified and the problem of heavy metals in sludge is solved fundamentally.

End Products in BENENV Sewage Sludge Carbonization Plant:
After the process which includes high temperature pyrolysis, volatile gas, sulfur emission, carbon enrichment of garbage disposal technology, the end product we get is artificial carbon/charcoal which owns fixed higher carbon content (about 90%), Compared with the general coal, it is about twice its carbon content ( usually fixed carbon content of coal is 55% ). Besides, it is a new type of high-grade fuel with good flammability, while some biomass after carbonization has very strong activation (it can be activated up to 75%), There is no doubt that it is an ideal material for manufacturing activated carbon. And if this carbon black can be processed by professional carbon black processing plant, it will be sold by higher price.
